    yeah, looks like the better-known capital fredericton is closer, and saint john, a port city, is RIGHT BESIDE IT.

    Correct, though I'm now thinking that it's relatively close in the eyes of someone from Toronto, but Rothesay is typically considered part of greater Saint John, right?

    not only is rothesay considered part of greater saint john, why should someone from toronto recognize moncton over saint john, or fredericton? it seems they just picked a random new brunswick city and figured that 'near' equals 'in the same province as.'
